Getting the Wheeling Fever

About a month ago I replaced both inner and outer wheel bearings on my 93 Rodeo. While working on it this past weekend I noticed there is movement again when I pull in and out on my tire. How am I supposed to measure the preload and what do I use? When I installed the new ones I just guessed when I tightened the nut with two punches.

93 Rodeo 3.2L, 3" body lift, 3" Indy4x lift on 33's, flowmaster50, stainless brakes and clutch lines,
