You guys are truly a wealth of information. I'm going to check it out today - see if any fluid has leaked out anywhere and also see how the clutch pedal feels and whether I can shift or not. If the reservoir is empty then I know I need to replace parts right away. If it's still full, I'll try bleeding it and see what happens. Either way, though, I think for long-term peace of mind, I'll end up replacing both the master and slave. Prices don't look that bad and the work seems easy enough to do. Thanks for all the advice.
