I'm still curiously exactly how much the "Power" setting changes the shift points, compared to the "Economy" setting.
I ran through a tank of gas on "Power", and ran through a tank of gas on "Economy." NO DIFFERENCE. Switched back and forth between the two, for about 3 hours one day and observed no detectable difference in the rpm's at the shift points. I'm beginning to think that either (1) the damned thing is broken; (2) Its just some dysfunctional mechanism designed to be a selling point to sell more cars. I wonder if its not just a button, with nothing attached to the back of it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
I think I'm going to start with a transmission cooler and install a K&N filter.
Is there a substantial difference between just a plain drop-in K&N filter replacement and an entire cold air intake (high performance) product?
Anyone done this type of modification with any thoughts?
