You might also try backing off the adjustment screw to push the DP plunger in less far. I have mine set to about 1/2 the plunger travel. I find it helps keep the throttle from sticking closed when I try to ease off of idle. I do have the earlier style throttle linkage and the spring pressure of the DP plunger helps pop the throttle open as the alignment of the early linkage there is pretty poor.
