Getting the Wheeling Fever
Can anyone tell me what the black stuff is all over my 95 T dash is? I wipe it off but it is back in a week or 2. Does the T100 have a cabin filter?

no replaceable cabin air filter.

on the flap that controls fresh air/recurculate above the blower motor, it has a thin piece of dark grey foam on the flap covering it acting like a filter. maybe your foam is crumbling? and being blown out the air vents?

You know, I get the same little black flecks on my dashboard... but it takes a lot longer than 2 weeks to get any. Funny, I've never bothered to ask where it comes from... I just keep it clean. I'm really anal about the interior of my truck, so they are never there for long. Could it be coming from the window seal?

That's funny- I noticed the same thing recently. I think they are coming from my sun visor. The foam inside feels a little crunchy and I noticed that whenever I pull the visor down I see dust particles falling in the sunlight. On mine the plastic cylinder that clips into the ceiling bracket is half broken and it appears the foam can escape from there. I'm thinking maybe I can plug the hole by sealing it up with a small amount of Goop type stuff.

Need a Spot
Let me echo the air filter comment, seeing as how that seems to be the most likely suspect here. Barring that, there could also be something inside that's slowly getting blown out.

Body Damage is Cool
there is no air filter in the cabin, sadly...im guessing the tundra has one?

Id love to have a sand filtration system in mine.

Mine are for sure coming from my sun visor. There are some small cracks in the vinyl near the latch thing and every time I mess w/ the visor particles fall out...
