I don't have any wiring experience so if you could help me a little please. So, the wiring harness for the taillights has a connection approximately underneath the location of the back seat. Take this connection apart and install a "t" connection for the trailer wiring? No spicing, soldering or removing the taillight assembly?

No off the shelf "T-Connector" is available but you can easily make one using basic crimp connectors, wire stripper, & crimper tool.

I made it for my LWB so it has about 4' of wire to the end of the 4 pin flat trailer wiring connector. Since this end will be exposed, I covered it in breathable mesh wiring loom which protects it from everything but a major downpour or a complete dunking and also allows it to dry off if wet unlike typical wiring looms. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
