My review of the gloves:

I highly recommend them. I tried cutting a pair with my knife, which I keep fairly sharp, and it stood up to it. My blade is partially serrated, which did start to fray the glove, but using the straight edge of my blade did nothing. The glove is pretty thick, and the rubber applied to the palm does add some weight. I would say it feels like wearing a leather glove, but because it's woven, you may not get the sweaty palms. Hope that helps.
