Hi,

I hope it's ok to revive the diesel swap thread. I put mine down awhile ago and picked it back up this weekend. I'll go ahead and add the rest of my findings and pictures as I go.

I worked on removing the AC condenser and dryer today to give the Montero more breathing room since I don't plan to have AC in this truck. I'm reusing the auxiliary electric fan for cooling and will hook it either to a switch or a thermostat.

What's left to do? I need to finish prepping the engine bay and finish the fuel system. I'm also going to splice in the Ranger alternator wiring before I put the motor in. My goal is to have the body and engine fully prepped and plug-n-play when I drop it in.

I need to swap the oil pan and do some measuring of the flywheel and clutch. I also have a Mighty Max coolant neck that I may swap out if I can get everything to fit right in the bay. I'm going to wait on that until the motor is in and the new Montero stock radiator is installed.
