Ok i am not sure if this is the place to put this since it is not for sale. I have been trying to sale this engine for a year now and not one taker, so here is the deal the first person that can come get it out of my garage can have it.
It has 3,000 miles on it and is complete from inake to exhuast.

Since moab is around the corner and i can't make it out there this year maybe someone can piggy back this thing out to moab. I am north of san francisco.
If mods need to move this i understand, i think more people will see here than in the for sale section.

I have a lot of money in this motor, bored 30 over new head delta cam all new valves and valve springs and more.
So first come first serve. Don

Body Damage is Cool
wow that is an awesome gesture. I would get it in a heartbeat if I wasn't 2000 miles away!

That's just the technical name for the Isuzu 2.6L fuel-injected engine. Came in 1st-gen Amigos, Pups, Troopers, and some Rodeos.

Could this be a direct dropin replacement for the 2.3?

Yes and no. It'll physically drop in and bolt up without a problem. The "problem" comes from the 2.3 being carb'd and the 2.6 being fuel injected. It's really not a problem though. You'll either have to put your 2.3 intake onto the 2.6 or you'll have to convert everything over to fuel injection, ie, fuel pump, wiring harness, computer, etc. Most people just put the carb on in this case. Do a search on here and you should find any info you need to get ya going. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
