I was just driving out in the rain and I went thru some real deep water and I got this code P0301 cylinder 1 misfire and my engine died. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?

You splashed water up on the spark plug wires and caused the number 1 cylinder to missfire. It will clear when the water is dried off; could be a sign of a bad spark plug wire as well.
