Since I am adding fender flares to my Trooper I also need to repair/paint them. Through searching I've found these three websites which are perfect for my search.
Paintscratch.com
autocolorlibrary.com
ITOG - option codes
Ok, so on my option code plate it says that I have body color 774. On all three of these websites it calls out "Ebony Black" and "Lt. Silver Metallic/Light Silver Poly/Light Silver Metallic Clearcoat."
I'm just thinking that my trim looks more like a gold than a silver. Can someone verify that the light silver metallic is in fact the right trim color for my truck? I'd hate to start ordering this stuff just to find out its totally wrong.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
My 1997 Trooper shows Silver Metallic for the trim color. I've purchased a touch-up size container at the dealer and it doesn't match. The color from the dealer is much more like aluminum and not the color of my trim. Your best bet is to find a local auto paint supplier, they can look at it and match it plus they can give you helpful advice. I buy a lot of things on the internet but you can do a lot better at your local paint shop than online.

Body Damage is Cool
My fender flares are
Paint: Satin Gold Metallic Clearcoat 613/U108

I haven't seen any in person but it sounds right.
