Hi Guys,

For the past while I have noticed that I don't seem to have a full brake pedal. I don't feel and sponginess nor do I feel the pedal drop to the floor with constant pressure.

My first thought was perhaps my rear brakes were not self-adjusting. The weird part is that sometimes I will have a full pedal, and then I am back to half a pedal.


The vacuum brake assist diaphragm and check valve are holding vacuum overnight and my brake fluid level is stable.

I have noticed that I am nearly due for new pads and rotors up front. They are fine now, but running a bit low.

I am getting ready to drive from D.C. to Alaska and would sure like this issue resolved. The truck stops just fine, I just don't have the full pedal like I used to.
