I call it the Toyota Grunt. I recently fixed the noise on my truck by stopping by Less Schwab (my local tire store). It was the steering stops. They cary new bushings for them in stock as it is very common for them to wear out. They put them on my truck for free. If this is not your problem chances are your local tire store will perform a free inspection, if it is something simple or common they can probly tell you what it is.
