Now I feel really stupid. I couldn't find a search feature. To top it off, Pirate won't let me use the link. It says I don't have permission. Perhaps I should go ask my mother if I can check out the website. I've been a member for years but never go there.

For your convenience, the direct link to the page:

Or use Google to search that site.

you have to have a red star to use the search feature; there's a sticky at the top of every forum explaining such. Another way is to use Google's advanced search option.

Thanks for the link. It sounds like a toss up between the two brands. I'll have to see who has what and for how much and go from there.

Thanks for the info.

I don't have a red star. I'll have to look in to that. Like I said, I rarely head over to Pirate. I would like to be able to search though. Thanks OOPS.

I take it you are in favor of Roundeyes over the Hellas... I do like that RE accepts paypal.

Oh, it's time to quit screwing around. I just ordered them up from Roundeyes. They had a free shipping promo going on and I buckled under the pressure.

I just got some headlights from roundeyes today. I installed them right away and I am very impressed with them. The low beam cutoff is a perfectly straight line, and lets you aim the lights higher without blinding everyone else on the road

I'll snap some pictures tomarrow, they have some reflectors on them that are not shown on their site.

Sounds like a very similar beam pattern to the Hella Vision Plus lamps. Mine have a very sharp cutoff on the low beams. I would imagine most of the DOT style H4 lamps have this same setup. I think the Hellas run about $35-$40 ea.

I finally installed the headlights today. I should have done this years ago... With Roger's harness and the Roundeyes, I think I can start a fire if I leave the headlights pointed at a flammable object for too long. This is exactly what I was after and the cut off is perfect. I am quite pleased.
