Don't forget about lifting the rear end.
Then you have wheels, tires, gears, lockers, armor, etc etc it never ends.

I should be ordering my front kit next week . That's too bad. So what's wrong with Trail Gear's kit?? It would be nice if you would back up a comment like that.

truest words you'll ever hear My buddys wife told my wife ten years ago "you just bought a money pit". Many dollars later I am still doing stuff. Thinking about full hydro now!!!!

To my conscience and me, the money saved is not worth it. Supporting a company that outright steals from another is something I will never do. I'm glad that the 6-stud knuckle fiasco and other unethical business practices were brought to light by one of their former racers on PBB. It spread pretty quickly, but I don't think it made it here. Bottom line, the new phrase that I'm seeing "if it's only available at TG, I don't need it" is starting to gain hold among a number in the wheeling community. EDIT: interesting reading. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546531

well im not that experinced but my dad and i are going to do this and he just needs to no the technical parts and really its more of a bonding thing im gonna be doin the welding and he is gonna point me around tell me what to do after i gather enough info i would NOT even attempt this unless you are an experienced welder. if your spring hanger isn't welded right and comes off, you're going to get in a really bad accident. this isn't the kind of project people jump into not knowing what they're doing although if you're confident enough in your welding, and you guys do a lot of research, you should be alright. but, i've looked into doing a sas myself, and the minimum you're going to spend is about $2,500. that's not including larger tires(at least 35's) and gears if you want to do it right. that would tack on another 2 grand.
