Sure, that may be the easiest/most practical solution. But, are you really gonna go find someone who will tow, drive and run their backhoe out there? You gonna pay for that, cuz it'll be expensive - labor fees, gas for backhoe, gas for tow rig to get the backhoe there etc. And most importantly, are you gonna leave your truck out there for people to rape for however long it takes you to find/get a backhoe out there?

There was no way to know that the axles would rip out, simply from winching out of some mud. The winch was the quickest and cheapest option that got the truck home asap. You gotta think realistically, not conveniently ya know? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
