Body Damage is Cool
I remember seeing that jeep in the ice years back on here, they winched it through the ice and ripped the front bumper off in the process.

I betcha that jeep still didnt come out after that. The only way I see it coming out is if they wait a couple of months for the weather to warm back up... The damage was already done. What it looks like was he thought that "big" creek was iced over enough to drive over, when it broke through, all that huge chucks of ice broke through his windows, either that or his friends are playing a cruel joke on him. I bet it was there for awhile. Whenever in doubt, keep your a$$ away!

I saw the thread a long time ago on another forum...its been so long I cant remember where.... but that happened in Japan or one of those Asian countries if I remember right and he ended up getting it out shortly after it fell through...within a day or two....It did get frozen in there solid though and they had to cut it out and a path out for it as well before it could be towed out.

Yeah I cant remember if I saw a series of pictures of it, or if there was a video, but I sure do remember it heh.

Somewhere there is a video of a wrangler trying to cross a rain flooded river in Alaska, by the time they got out to recover it, it has sunk to its roof in sand.

That was Knik River. It's eaten quite a few rigs. It wasn't rain that got them so much as the effect of leaving an ice cube the size of Rhode Island out in the sun for a few days.

Here's a few of mine. Kinda weak, but I've only been stuck 1 other time than what you see, and I was in no mood for cameras (stuck on huge log with limb sticking up into my frame/drive shaft. Had to chainsaw my way out)

First time stuck in the 4Runnner...not technically stuck, but I didn't want to go forward since I would have really been stuck if I did...couldn't go backwards, needed a locker smile

First time getting stuck after the sas...huge ruts, they got bigger as I went forward..burried the front diff

Got stuck in a mud pit, was carrying a load of firewood on a trailer...didn't realize the mud was so deep until it was too late

Do.
With any luck I can take the summer off again.
Just need a clutch to make the most of it.
