I have a '88 4Runner w/ IFS, 2" body lift, Locked rear and open front with 5.29 gears and I run 34" Super Swamper LTB's. I don't plan on locking the front just to prevent breaking things. I've run tough truck, mud bogs, and rock crawl and have had no problems with the IFS. I wheel w/ a few friends that have a cheerokee w/ 6" lift open F/R and the same tires and a TJ w/ 4" lift open F/R w/ the same tires and I can do the same lines they do. Granted w/ the solid front axle the Jeeps get more flex & can posse on a rock better but w/ my locked rear I can make the same lines look easy and cooler w/ a tire in the air. The TJ has broke a few times on the trail and its always been up to me to help fix it and get it out.

Like they say "I understand the Jeep thing thats why I drive a Toyota". <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
