Getting the Wheeling Fever
All the warning lights (but 3-right turn arrow, gas and oil temp) came on the other day while I was driving in the rain, but the car kept running fine. After a few minutes parked in the garage it would not start again. I thought maybe there was a wet electrical connection. A few days later it started fine and ran for about 5 miles. After stopping at a store it would not start up properly. It would start and then stall after a few seconds. Had it towed and it's been like that ever since.

One person thinks it's the ECM. Several people say it's electrical because of the lights. It's obviously affecting the fuel system.

I looked at the ECM and there are two wires with connectors on the ends, but they are not connected. They are different color with different color stripes. Not sure if these were ever connected or not.

Any ideas?

99% sure its your alternator or its associated wiring.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Thanks for the tips towards the alternator. Thanks for the very helpful link to a post with the same symptoms as me. I will try the alternator and see if that fixes my problem.

Thanks everyone for the help! The alternator did the trick. You all saved me a lot of troubleshooting time and gave me a lead when I just had no idea what to do. The link provided was REALLY useful! It was exactly the same symptom that I had.

You all are GREAT!
