Another vote for the FFOR Full-Floater kit. Disk brakes and stronger axles shaft plus I run vented FJ rotors with IFS calipers and I can stop better than most cars. Btw: My wife has found the windshield a couple times with her forehead. She has learned to wear her seatbelt at all times now.

If cost is a factor, look at the kit from Sky Manufacturing . It looks good and they also sell the t-case parking brake.
