You can fix this pretty easy. I had my tank down for one reason or another (I cut two holes in it on accident) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />, so I cleaned it out good with water and filled it completely up with water then welded the bad places.

Afterward I used compressed air to test it. That's some pretty thin metal, my tank popped out on top and bottom. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> It took some doing with a rubber mallet to get it back into shape.

I'm going to say it'd be harder to get the dent out of the skid plate then to fix the tank.

The tank and skidplate do come apart so that's not an issue.

Hey now that you are going to drop the tank down, and seeing as you do have a 3" body lift.......
