The stock front wiper blades for my '91 4Runner are screwed in with two little screws.
Went to pepboys to get some rain-x and the type recommended by the computer is #17, but those don't fit at all. Would prefer to get Bosch micro edge, but the bosch website only lists wipers for 4runners starting 93 and they also state #17.

Anybody found any non-OEM wipers that fit a '91 4Runner?

Not sure about your 91, but my 88 has the 2 little screws. But you don't unscrew those to replace the blades. Just remove the blade itself. On mine, it uses a single pin that goes through the center of the blade.

Mine has that pin too, but it doesn't look like it can come out of the blade. Stamped flat on the other end.

Believe it or not the dealer is the best place to go. Camelback Toyota here in Phoenix had em cheper than Autozone and Checker.

Went to pepboys to bring the rain-x back and found that the bosch microedge excel 40717 have the correct adapter for the screw attachment. Put them on and they are working fine. I'm happy now :-)

Thanks for the help
