Actually, that's what I did: got the sliders first then the bumpers later. I also suggest it as well if you off-road in the rough stuff. My rockers were already bashed-up pretty good by the time I got the sliders. I mainly wanted them so that I didn't make it worse. Any more bashing and I likely wouldn't be able to open/close doors. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />
