Don,

Have you considered making a front bumper that's similar to your rear bumper? The top view dimensions/angles can be similar to your current bumper but the elevation would look something like this...

When I re-designed the rear bumper to the current style, I considered a similar design for the front, but just haven't found the motivation to change the current front style yet. I like the tapered appearance of the current front bumper...

Just putting it out there for you. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> I think it would match your rear bumper design better. Alternatively, you can redo your rear bumper design as well using the right building materials to match it up with the front. <GRIN>

I'd love to learn to weld, but just don't have the facilities to do it where I live and I can't very well fabricate at a local parking lot, etc.

DON is correct you do need an additional plate to mount a winch on an ARB.

It may depend on the particular bumper and winch. My ARB was winch ready.
