22re w/ 4k on the rebuild...i have a rattle coming from the front of the engine that sounds JUST like a timing chain rattle. all new EB parts 268 cam w/ OS valves, LC adj. cam gear, lash set to .007/.009 cold, as per eb recommendations. pulled the valve cover, some scuff marks on the baffle from the rockers, so that was a lil tight, still didnt help the noise. TC guides and tensioner look fine, no slack in the chain. oil pressure is good, by the stock gauge anyways, and the sound mostly goes away when its not idling. now ill admit, im stumped. any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
