yes! any pics and measurements of the back seat would help a lot! robb has already posted some, but they were of his in his truck. i would like to have some pics of just the raw frame so i can see if i can reproduce it exactly.

thanks for the comment about the avatar! my mom took that picture when we were in NM in oct 2007.

i DID drop it off at line-x this morning smile and i finally got to look at the whole thing. it looks great just like it is!! several of the guys there could not believe it was cut up like it was and made longer. they said you did a great job! the owner was there and said the longest guess was it would be ready next saturday, but he was pretty sure they would have it done sooner. they are going to line-x over the seams of the side windows like we discussed on the phone. i got the hatch off, the lock out, the trim panel off and the seal off for them. they are going to do the outside and inside of the hatch and trim piece for the hatch.

just finished up taking the crate apart. i have lots of uses for the scrap wood smile

off to the garage to figure out if i should hang it from the ceiling or build a stand for it to straddle the frame so i can mark the back of the cab!

2 pics of it un-crated at line-x this morning smile

I've been meaning to write in since the summer but I never seem to have the time these days....

I was in Penticton last summer to visit my inlaws and put some miles on my sportbike so I went to see Cory at his shop. He spent some time checking out my truck and showed me around the shop and all his projects. It's quite the place and his project collection is really cool. Also, his attention to detail is unbelievable. Cory, you have way more patience than I ever will. I can't wait to go back next summer to see the air-bagged, turbo "Supra-truck" closer to completion.

Sorry for taking so long to write in but I wanted to get the plug in. Now to convince my wife that a fiberglass Runner would never rust out...

All the best,
Sean.

darn, sweet work. i too am slowly fixing up my 83 4x4 truck. been kind of working on it when time permits. The hardest part is I'm trying to do this in my garage and at the same time keep peace with the neighbors. Again, great job!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey CJM, is that you in Canada with all the fiberglass parts? I sent you an e-mail yesterday (not knowing it was you) asking about a tailgate for my truck(83 4x4). Thanks for the response/link, I'll check it out laterz. Aloha!

That Line-X looks awesome; texture is pretty interesting!
