Tell me more about the toothpaste gig. I've never seen a problem with Montero headlights but my Dodge minivan looks like it has cataracts! Have to have my high beams on to get lo beam light.

It was mentioned on some TV show I saw recently. I cannot confirm effectiveness. I did a quick search for headlight cleaning and found a number of different approaches to the problem...sandpaper, rubbing compound, flitz, etc.

for headlights with plastic lenses....mag wheel polish works AMAZING!!!! they look like brand new afterwards. if there are a few deep pits in them, sand paper followed by a good polish will restore them nicely.
