hey guys,

After adding new 33" tires (which are a huge improvement), I cranked my front torsion bars up 2" and took the upper bump stops out. After I cranked the bars, the ride in front is very hard. I knew that the ride would be come stiffer due to the higher spring rate, but this is much, much stiffer over stock. Bumps that I could barely feel before on the trail are almost teeth jarring.

I went to the local wheeling spot and the front didn't seem to travel at all. Afterwards I went to a parking lot with large speed bumps, the front seems to go up and over them with out any travel. I think the truck was trying to jump the bump.

Is this a result of the increased spring rate in the torsion bar? Or is this more of a result due to the sway bar being cranked down a few inches? Or am I missing something else?

Thanks for comments and thoughts,

Chris
