I never really have understood why the tbars make the ride rougher when you crank them unless of course you push up against the bumpstops. Mine did not really seem to get any harsher of a ride. They are not preloaded. You are just changing where they are sitting as if you put a spacer on a coil spring. Or a lift block on a leafspring.
Although your not loading the spring any more by cranking them, you change the geometry of the control arms.
