I believe re-indexing them would only address issues where they are getting worn (losing their stiffness). If the front end is being held at a certain height, whether they are set there from stock or set there after they've been re-indexed I would think the "springyness" might be about the same.

If you haven't done so already, try trimming down your upper bump stops. That might help in giving the front end some flex.
