I know what I went through with the genII shorty to get the rear speakers in, so the thought of pulling the rearmost seats (third row) and the trim all the way to the roofline is not real thrilling. If the grilles could be easily removed while leaving all else in place, it would turn a 4 hour job into a half hour or less, methinks.
