I am planning to replace shock absorbers of my Montero SR. First, front ones.
I ordered KG54302 ($46.95 x 2). The shop's site says " [color:"blue"]For Montero's with adjustable suspension refer to shock manufacturers' notes[/color]". And, the PDF file from KYB web page says:

MITSUBISHI MONTERO 1992-96 with VSA (Variable
Shock Absorbers)
1. Remove shock activators.
2. Unplug control module behind left rear trim panel.
3. Remove and install shocks per instruction sheet
supplied with units.
4. Use the following units: KG54302 Front, KG54303 Rear.

Does this mean the adjust switch (soft, medium, and hard) will still work with the new shocks? I don't care even if it doesn't work but I care if these shocks can be installed by myself... Let's see.
