as far as I know, the mounting points should be the same, the only thing the factory adjustable shocks have is a little thing on top that the wires go to so they can be adjusted. probably some technicality in the books somewhere, but shocks for my 97 montero that didn't have VSA compared to shocks for my 97 montero that did have VSA are the same when looking for aftermarket options, mounting points are identical,
