C'mon down - we're just a bunch of good ol' boys who like to make some occasional noise. We never shoot anything we wouldn't eat..... and not too many of us are cannibals.

O.K. FrankR, I am officially stumped. I recognize the S&W #36 and H.E. revolvers, but the two semi auto pistols are unknown to me. #3 sort of looks like a poor Beretta clone, and #4 a passing copy of a Luger, but I know enough of Lugers to know that is not what it is. What are they?

My buddy has a Desert Eagle. Those things are friggin HEAVY. He has yet to shoot it, but I can only imagine the recoil of a .50 round.

Bruce, both are .22cal LR:

#3 is a 10 round Unique Model 52 by Manufacture d'Armes des Pyrenees in Hendaye, France.

#4 is a Stoeger Arms Corporation Luger.

You should be scared....

But not because a lot of us have guns. You should scared because when you call the cops, you'll be lucky if they show up. And when they do, you'll be lucky if anything is done about the crime you were a victim of and then you'll be REALLY lucky if the perpertrator is caught, but most of all, you'll be super duper lucky, if he does any time.

My point is, it's not the guns you should fear or those of us who carry them, but a revolving door legal system in America that allows most jack off perps to repeatedly commit one crime after another with little or no consequences.

Good lord! What a day!

Gun show, ordering carpet, looking at 3 houses, then test driving a Subaru B9 Tribeca ( by the way),

I can say I'm the proud pwner of a S&W Airweight 642 in .38 +P for me, and Mama picked out a .40 Springfield XD (damn, I love that woman!!!)

Will post up when I remember to bring the camera in from the truck.

A fine choice. Although, carrying an airweight for any length of time tends to spoil you for carrying anything heavier, which is just about everything. Even a mid-sized (and still quite concealable) 9mm feels like a pig compared to my j-frame.
