Start it up, let it warm up real good. Adjust timing. Burp cooling sys. Look for oil / coolant / gas leaks.
Once warmed up real good, shut her down. Adjust valves again. Mabe change oil / filter too. Next, take her for a spin, taking it easy on the throttle for a 1/2 hour or so. Let her cool back down. Check oil and coolant levels.
From there??? I run it normal, change oil at 500 miles, then business as usual. Worked for me. Good luck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
