Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi Guys,

I'm looking at a 2.5 suspension lift on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Iron...itemZ230008052212QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

I only know a little bit about Ironman from what I've read on outerlimits. I was wondering what your thoughts and opinions are about the springs and shocks. I was hoping with the springs I would gain some rear articulation.

I'm not too concerned about the t-bars right now but heavier bars could come in handy down the road when I get winch bumper and accessories. For the price it seems pretty good to me. Does anyone run them or know much about them?

Thanks
Chris

I've only heard from the owners in Australia. Since that's coming from a liquidator, you may want to doublecheck if Iron Man's still around and also if there's any warranty issues.

The price seems right, I am hoping to find out more information about them before I order the kit. I am all so planing on a 2" BL too and would like to have that ordered with in the week.

I haven't gone wheeling much around here. I go out the the levee (sp) off harbor in W. Sac and mess around. I have been down here a couple yrs. Before that I was in Oregon I would love to find some places in Tahoe...

Do you know of any places?

Chirs

I go to the foothills and Lake Tahoe usually.

I know where your talking about though over by the deep water channel. I used to ride dirt bikes out there under the power lines. A few good jumps out there too. Not much for trailing but you can definatly get muddy.

Keep in touch, we'll hit a few trails this spring. -Chris

I bought an Ironman lift for my Gen3 from this seller. It arrived quick and installed perfectly.

I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Good luck,

Chris, Tahoe and the foot hills sound great. I work in Placerville it would be a great location for some 4x4ing. I have wanted to go up there but have been unsure on the location. In the winter not this winter I spend allot of time on the slopes...what a great place.

Yep that sounds like the spot. There's not much there, but a few hill climbs and some big mud holes filled with clay.

We should defiantly get together this spring... sounds great. I have weekends off and am free most of them.

Mark, thanks for the input, I'm a little hesitant cuz I can't find much info on iron man. Good to hear about the seller.

Chris,

If you wanna do the Con or similar trails (and are built for it) we usually do a Mitsu 4x4 run there most years. If not into the N. Sierra's then certainly into the S. Sierra's. Usually do it at the end of summer.

That sounds great. would love to meet some Mitsubishi guys.

Hopefully by the end of summer I will have sliders, and front bumper. Just ordered a 2" BL tonight =). Also I will have some new springs as soon as i figure out what to get. how built dose one need to be for the con?
