Actually, I'm just having a little fun with you guys. Some of you are so darned serious, I thought I'd try and add a little humor to the forum. Truthfully, though , my friend Stan has been using acetone in his 98 Ford Escort and claims to have seen a noticeable difference in power and MPG. He claims about 2-3 more MPG. He does things in a rather organized and scientific manner so I am inclined to believe his claims. I tried it in my 2001 S10 with 4.3 and there was no noticeable difference. Apparently acetone does work in some cars.
