These are a couple pictures of what a broken valve can cause. This is mile 77 of a fresh motor. Unfortunatly we are thinking that the combo of the head and the cam caused it. The springs on this head, brand new from ebay, were 0.050 shoter than the stock springs, that and a .268 cam. Not only did it toast the piston and valve, it also put a crack in the block, and messed up the head. Fortuanatly the head can be fixed which is what we will do. Just thought I would show this to you all, kind of interesting I thought <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> [image] ]http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p311/racerfan120/DSCF0325I.jpg[/image] http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p311/racerfan120/DSCF0324I.jpg ![[Linked Image]](http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p311/racerfan120/DSCF0328I.jpg)
