It is crazy. Much below 800 and that thing bounces around the engine bay like she is missing. 950 and she purrs to the point I think I could use your egg on the valve cover.

We haven't had to set one over 850 yet for the locals, least that I know of.

The carb engines don't care, I don't think. I suppose if set too high she might tend to diesel, about it.
