Hmmm...this is food for thought. I can indeed go down that low, but as soon as I turn on my fan, headlights, brakelights, stereo...she starts to sputter at the stoplights. I just figured it was do to the alternator pulling so hard so I bumped up the idle so I do no have to worry about it.

Now when I pull up to a stoplight she can go down to 800-850 instead of 700-750. This also keeps my oil pressure a little highter (not that I am really worried about that as I have good pressure at idle).
