I knew that about the dwell and no points in the 22RE. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> Most of the used tachometers I see for sale have a dwell meter and tach combined. I just need the tach function and I don't want to buy a Snapon/Bluepoint meter for $250. If an old school tach will do the job I may get what I need for much less (like $10) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> . -- Matt
