Getting the Wheeling Fever
Does anyone know the largest motor by Mitsubishi or any other that will match the existing 4-speed Automatic tranny in my 1990? will the newer 3.5 etc... match up?....Sorry if this is already an asked question, I looked in the forums and didnt see it, Thanks! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It will mate, but you will have fun with the electronic part of it, if you're using a 3.5l Auto trans.. I think up until 93, you're ok as far as it being the same trans. All the ones after that are computer controlled. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The largest that we got is the 3.8 in the 2003 and newer Montis. It has a more elaborate managment system using drive buy wire so you will want the electronics from an earlier 3.5 for a swap.
