I use either my tie rod end puller or pitman arm puller. I think its the pitman puller because its bigger. Never had much problem w/ the right tool...

I used this style. It's actually a pitman arm puller but it worked PERFECTLY

it worked WONDERS. Totally either buying or renting that again. I have a charge acct @ napa so I charged the whole suspension servicing kit (176.00 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />) to my account and then returned it today.

I REALLLLLLLLLLLLYYY recommend using that puller if you're doing lower balljoints.

Really.

This is the style BJ puller I already have, and it didn't work at all for this application. Just can't fit it in there.

Yep, I have one of those I bought at AutoZone for about $10. Have already gotten at least $50 worth of use of it. Worth every penny.

With 200+ Billion electrical parts, the world most complicated machine is inside your own skull.

Question Reality.

Thats cause its not made for our style suspension.. I know Ford Danger Rangers use that type though... not our Yota pickups.
