Then I took it home and did this.

No that was a different day. What you saw on you tube was the same location though. But rutted out different and a few years later. The time I went through on youtube I busted a mirror though.

Believe it or not the one on youtube had no other body damage other then the mirror. That spot is nasty enough I have seen what I thought was better equiped trucks back off. Also I have seen that spot used in advertisments for jeep parts.

Here is another pic of the same spot I think. Different angle.
It is at the badlands offroad patk in Indiana.

It is actually a 2 part vid.

4/10 Updated List of Attendee's...
Again the date is now confirmed for the first weekend of May which is May 5 & 6th. This trip is also posted on the Trailride's forum here

So far we've got the following confirmed attendee's...
off-roader/ray
4xmonty/russ
cap510/carlos
ghostraider/kris
Blossoms4Runner92CA/joanna
DC/dat
4Play/ashby
Vic Lee/vic
LRJ4X4/les (possible for 1 day)
silver94sr/chris
BS/brian

Anyone else interested?

Again, for those attending or seriously thinking about going, if you haven't yet, please PM me your cell phone info and your email address and I'll send out a trip flyer with everyone's cell number, directions, and other critical details in a pdf document that you can print out for the trip. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Also as Joanna pointed out in the Trip forum thread, for those going, make sure you buy either a day use pass or an overnight pass (if you plan on camping overnight).

The passes are easy to purchase. See the Reserve America website and enter Oceano Dunes SVRA as the Park Name, Arrival Date 5/4, and Length of Stay 2 nights (or whatever dates you are able to make). Passes are $10 per night per vehicle (plus $10 a trailer if applic). Right now there are 880 passes left out of 1000 so there's no need to rush. You might even be able to purchase them at the gate. Day passes are also available at the gate -- I think they're only $5 but don't cover the overnight camping.
