So I just got done ordering new ARB coils and custom Steel braided brake lines for my rig. The coils will give me about 4in. of lift, currently im sagging at 2-2.5in.

Whats left to do is a new trans pan gasket seal. Figure out the fuel problem (pump or sending unit), check my fan clutch and identify the overheating problem, and install a Perma-cool fan w/ manual fan switch.

Ohh and I might need to service my rear diff. The LSD didn't feel like it was engaging while "testing" in the rain a while back.

With about 3 weeks to go, I hope I can afford all the needed repairs and have time to install the new parts.

I'll keep you updated!

PS: To add to the list of pre-trip prep: Check for good tow hook points. You will most likely get stuck (don't worry, its not as bad as it sounds) so having good points to attach straps to is key. I like to use a receiver shackle like the one on this Parts Site I also use like to use screw-pin D-ring shackles for the front on the exisiting tow loops, like these Both are relatively inexpensive and highly functional.

Also like mentioned above, snatch straps not tow straps!
