What an incredible trip! And a GREAT group.

Unfortunately this pic is only about half of our group...

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Looked like an awesome trip, though that wind looked nasty. Is it normaly that windy out there?

I think you can actually wind-sandboard that stretch of coastline. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well my trip was not the best. Earlier in the week high winds blew my sons' play stucture into my neighbors fence,Friday had a new pool installed and it started leaking late that night and of course I'm already at Pismo, brought the wrong sleeping bag, forgot my beach chair at home had to buy a new one and then left it at the beach, got my tow vechicle stuck in the sand, popped a bead on the Montero.

But I do have to say that I really enjoyed meeting everyone and swapping info and tales. I thought it would be best if I packed up and headed home before things got out of control at home and I caused the group to fix my tire problems.

Would I do this again? Heck yeah!

Oh and my tent broke too in the high winds, I have had enough of high winds both at home and at the beach.

And Carlos, that ARB fridge was really sweet, talking the wife into maybe getting one.

Again, glad to meet everyone and thanks to all that helped me out.

You're good to go in my book, Rory, and it was great to see you again! Glad we could get that tire back on, too. Thanks for the compressor. It worked great when I realized I forgot to air back up right before I got back on the 101!
