Check the dust shield around where the driveshaft mates with the transmission (or is it the transfer case? Hmm. Can't remember now...). Looks kind of like a tin can. Mine was loose and and would rattle against the spinning drive shaft, although it sounded more like I was dragging tin cans behind me on a string than a chirp.
