Getting the Wheeling Fever

My hub question is not addressed in the manual. The "none of the above" response surprises me because I thought all "automatic" hubs require some force to activate them. For example my ?93 Dodge Dakota uses vacuum to operate the hubs and my ?06 Mazda B2600 uses an electrical signal.
