Man, I was really hoping you were going to go back and find the old Montero and buy it back from the mechanic!

Welcome to the board. I can totally sympathize with you and often reminisce about the 7 monteros I've owned and fiddled with and restored. I'm hoping the turbo diesel SWB I'm building now will serve me well for a LONG time.
