I am running 33X12.5 with no lift or trimming, All though if you articulate in a turn,(Wild Off road bumps and ditches,Which you said you don't do that sort of thing right now until you get another vehicle) then you have no worries,I have even pounded my monty into the ground with those tires and it barley rubs at all, it's really not even worth taking the time to trim... I went to a tire shop in town (A Ma And Pop place) I got 33X12.5's for $85.00 a piece and the size rim I needed for them for like 50 bucks a piece, they were not aluminium of course so you will add a bit more weight to the vehicle with the tires and steel rims.
